Cabo Rojo Port


Located on the southwest coast of the Dominican Republic in the province of Pedernales. This terminal is used mainly for the export of bauxite and limestone. Initially built by ALCOA (Aluminum Corporation of America); it is currently operated by Cementos Andinos, a company with Colombian capital. In addition, this port is used to receive the cargo of self-unloading vessels.
