This port was created to receive cruises, and to handle the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers. It was built in the 50s and it is located at the mouth of the Chavón River, within the facilities of the Central Romana.
It has two berths: the commercial dock and the tourist terminal.
Its operations include: export of sugar and molasses, handling of containerized cargo, loose cargo, fuel and cruise services.
